It's not so much file size as Flash design that determines how long a wait

you have. A huge file can start streaming within one second of connection time.


I switched to cable modem and it's a bit scary, because I don't have as

much reality check as I once did regarding how fast things load and stream.

If you're considering upgrading your connection, remember that for all the

convenience (and it *is* a great convenience), there's a danger for

developers to forget the bulk of their audience.
