2 things could be happening here.
1. The line endings are being converted when they shouldn't be.
2. The file type needs to be changed.
Both are easily fixed.
If 1. set "Convert text files to Macintosh Format" to Never in
File : Preferences : Cross Platform in Stuffit Expander
If 2. get your hands on a file type/creator changer and change it so
it can be recognised by Flash.
