Hi Colin,
On many occasions I have found that Windows IE browsers do not playback
a page when only the EMBED (no OBJECT) was used to display Flash. The
solution was to include the proper nested EMBED with the OBJECT.
Unfortunately, I do not know whether it is just some versions of the IE
browsers or something required by IE in the HTML when using the EMBED
that is fixed when switching to the OBJECT code. But, I have seen many
situations like this and do not at present know where there are any
uncorrected pages that do not display in Win IE form apparant lack of
the OBJECT.
