Subject: | FLASH: Brush gradient direction? |

The gradiant fills with the paintbucket allow you to rotate the direction
of the gradient, but I cannot find any way to do this with the paint
brush tool except by selecting the graphic after you paint it and
rotating with the transform menu.
That is inelegant when you are trying for a gradient inside boxes with
the paint brush, because after rotation the lines overflow the box.
Is there any way to change the direction of the linear gradient prior to
application with the paint brush rather than the default left to right?
