We've been trying to create a fully Flashed environment, needing only a
browser and the F4 plugin, just to see if it can be done. The limitations
are within Flash and how it handles large files. So, I guess we're back
to controlling QT4 movies with Flash, which is fine, we were just hoping
to simplify things for both our development and the client computer,
reducing needs of installing tons of hooha, a restart, potential
conflicts, etc.

It is not just a "CD Juke", in that we're not using simple stock music,
but similar in that we're trying to import large sections of rich sounds
(music, voice, effects), so, while the problem remains similar, the
solution isn't quite as simple.

When MM lightens up on distribution terms for Shockwave components, and
makes the installer and its pieces more manageable, we'll seek an MM-only
solution. Till then, we'll be counting on the ever growing usefulness of
QT4 combined with F3 and F4.

But, I'd still like to see some technical data on how F4 manages temp
files, so, at a minimum, we can configure our machines for optimal
performance without all the trial and error.

Thanks for your input, John. (:
