Okay, I've brought this up before, but I don't think I've seen it addressed
or resolved...
When I do a PUBLISH and I publish HTML *and* I publish the .swf in a
non-Flash4 version, the HTML code generated is:
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash2/cabs/swflash.cab#version=4,0,0
,0"
ID=chicagoan WIDTH=600 HEIGHT=300 align="middle">
Unless I'm a complete idiot, this causes a pretty big problem. I'm
publishing in F3, so the cab#version should be 3,0,0,0. So, why is this
happening? Yes, it is easy enough for me to manually change, but what about
all the others out there who don't know of this and have to scramble to come
up with an explanation as to why the F4 upgrader screen is happening?
MACR, is this a purposeful piece (a la "remote control") to "force" users to
upgrade or is it something different (ie and oversight)?
