The cda extension stands for CD Audio.

I don't know what platform you are on,but Sound Edit 16 does an awesome job
of converting CD audio to aiff or wav.

You can also do this with Peak as well,but SE 16 is a lot more simplistic to
use. Wish MM would continue developing the product:)

I believe Sound Forge also does a pretty decent job of this on the Windows
side of the house.It's been awhile since I've used it though.
