After using just about all software DAWs and Editing Applications, I would
actually have to recommend Peak to anyone, beginner or expert. You cannot
base the quality OR target market of a certain piece of software on it's
difficulty level. I guess it depends on who's using it also. Pro Tools is
very good, I'll have to admit. But for about half the price, you can get a
MOTU DP 2.7 system, and in my opinon, much better quality and more
functionality than ProTools will ever have. I guess if you have the burden
of primarily using a machine that has Windows installed, use whatever, it
doesn't matter anyway. :)
