I spoke too soon on that one... a later repost of my
problem with my sniffer got better responses about the
GetURL method in Mac IE.

Care to share your sniffer with me? My sniffer works
fine on all tested PC platforms, but not on the Mac...

I had suspected that maybe I had problems with my
server's mime settings, so a 'known-good' sniffer would
be helpful.

Either way, I have been informed that the Mac IE self-
detecting sniffer method does work in almost all
circumstances. I hope I didn't lead anyone astray with
that...
