FLASH: flash/director problem - load variables

I have a flash movie that is basically a form that communicates with an ASP

page to write and retrieve information from a database. This works fine when

I embed the SWF in an HTML page. What I'd like to be able to do is embed

this flash file into a (shockwave) director game that I'm working on. For

some reason when I do this, the flash file stops working (it never seems to

execute the load variables action). Is there some kind of known issue that I

just may not be aware of with using the load variables command in flash

movies embedded in a director movie?

Flash 4

Internet Explorer


Any help that anyone could offer on this would be much appreciated.
