I have found that things place themselves randomly in Netscape. If you
resize the window you will find after it refreshes itself things are just
slightly different...but I agree that this shouldn't be happening with
tables...strict layout is the only point of tables. I may have two
insights........Make sure none of the images are placed in the table as a
background image instead of just a regular embed. There is a difference
between where Net places backgrounds and where IE does. Thats why you don't
see many sites that have multiple frames with a single coherent image spread
behind a couple frames with a flawless seam (I've tried it again and
again...Images don't go all the way to the edge of a window.). The only
other thing I would suggest which you may have done is check to see if the
Object tag and the Embed tag have the same numbers for size, scale etc.
That would explain the browser differences...or make sure that there is no
padding by setting it to zero (but this is a rather desperate voodoo path).
