the background will be transparent, you don't need to do anything
special with it.
you can look at my silly example:
http://www.trollop.com/people/raven/flash/butterfly.html
http://www.trollop.com/people/raven/flash/butterfly.swf
if you look click on the swf by itself you'll see that the movie has a
normal background, while in the html it is transparent.
