The problem with most gif imports and exports is in the resolution value.
Different software packages and especially when viewing HTML files tend to
look screwy. I found it best to use an add-on called web pallets found
easily in yahoo.com. It reduces the resolution to its lowest common value
which keeps it constant throughout.
Just a thought.
