I make my own, but that's cause I operate a digital sound studio as part of
my work. Others on this list can direct you to sources on the web.
Typically the sources that stream audio offer pretty poor quality. For
high-quality sounds, you'll probably want to download 16-bit sounds samples
at 44.1kiloHertz, which will go a bit slowly over a modem. Or purchase the
audio CD equivalent of clip art. Check licensing requirements as they vary
quite a bit and not all such compilations allow you to use the sounds in
all way.
