Your hating Director 'cause your not familiar with it. Unless you have

been authoring in other software programs it will be difficult to pick

up Director overnight. 


That said, Director is very cool. I have created numerous CD's,

Kiosks, Web apps and other cool applications using Director, including

Flash imbedded in Director.


I know of a good Director 8 training CD if your interested.
