Hi Natasha.


Nothing to be embarrassed about.  The movement is nice.  I take it this is

just a splash screen although there are no active buttons on it (yet?).

It's a good start.  To do this work well takes a lot of time, especially

when first learning.  My Poison Dart Frog Music site took hundreds and

hundreds of hours over several months' time. I kept learning how to do

things better, and was refining my design skills all the time. Now when I

go back to tweak things on that site, I'm amazed at the inefficiency of my

earlier work methods. It's humbling and gratifying 'cause I can do it a lot

better now.

I hope you mean "vectors not GIFs." Flash is meant to work with vectors.

Those horizontal bars with text should be very easy to produce in Flash (be

sure to start with the bar as a symbol so you, as well as the Flash player,

don't have to redraw it each time). It will all be nice and clear then, and

can scale to the user's screen if you like.  As it is, it's all but

impossible to make out what the text says.
