For Windows 95/98:
You need Truetype fonts (.ttf) and they can be installed by placing them
in the Windows/Fonts directory.
And you can use postscript fonts (.pfm) if you have Adobe Typeface
Manager 4.0 or later. Use the Adobe Typeface Manager to install the
fonts.
If you have Adobe Typeface Manager 3.x then type will show in the Editor
but not be exported to the .swf file.
If you don't have or cannot create ttf fonts (or postscript) then the
next best alternative is to use a vector (not bitmap) format such as .ai
or .wmf and then create symbols in Flash so you can reuse the characters
easily (not quite as easy as a font because you have to typeset them
manually).
