This is almost a question without a direct sum answer.

More importantly, what else is involved, updating? Javascript? Creation from

concept to

final outcome or does the client already have a concept? Does the client

already have art

and photos ready or does he leave that up to you?


In general, anything under US$150/ hour(for US) is extremely _low_ for

anything

considered "cutting edge". Flash is no exception


Any professional designer will subcontract for artists, photographers,

programmers, JS monkeys, layout, concept artists

etc.and will add those freelance charges into the project budget. Some

"technie" type of people master

a design proggy and assume they are all of the above. If this is the case

charge around 35 bucks an hour.

However, rule of thumb, Charge for how much experience you have. If your more

or a "techie" person, hire

an artists or designer to complete your task. If your a designer or artist

type hire a "techie". If your both, charge 500 bucks an hour because your a

rare breed.
