Of course there is something in development for Flash 4 (very, very
early stages i would guess). As soon as Flash 3 was finished (and maybe
before) they were and are thinking about what Flash 4 will be. But it
takes time to determine what things are feasable and what things to
include in a new version of a product. It takes time to put these ideas
into a program and just get it stable enough to test (Alpha) and then
when you actually have a working product (beta) you start to remove bugs
and refine features.

It is now that you should send your requests to MM for what you want or
don't want in Flash 4 while there is plenty of time to incorporate your
desires.
