Hi Daniel,
Seems awfully over complicated for just browser detection for Flash.
Second detection of most browsers might be needed more after it is found
whether or not the Flash plugin/ActiveX control is not present if you
are customizing the user experiance for getting the plugin/ActiveX
control.
My 2 cents.
