The reality is if you continue to leave or introduce heinous bugs or
anomalous behavior in a product, you will anger your customer base and they
will look for alternatives. Some products have critical mass and can
therefore get away with more bugs and less innovation. I won't list specific
examples of these products. However, I can say Flash is not one of those
products. Yes there is no direct competition, more perceived competition,
but we an emerging technology and cannot make stupid mistakes. We rely
heavily on our existing customer base not only for revenue (after all, we
gotta support the Nasdaq) but for feedback on learning materials, technical
resources, product features and product vision. We in general are trying to
solve overall design problems which is good for the entire development
community. Anomalous behavior in products hinders solutions and is not in
our product design goals.

Net net, bugs are bad. No fruit flies here.
