FLASH: Instances

Hi,


I'm getting kinda frustrated with trying to modify instances. The prob is that I'm not able to do it. I'm in edit movie mode, and I've selected a keyframe in the active layer, so....  Any ideas why I can't modify these that I might be overlooking?
