Hi Al,
This may be a simplistic approach to your quandry, but it might be worth
considering. What if you made it so that the Pictures only become clickable
(in other words buttons) After a frame you have determined (lets say 50 )
is effectively loaded. In other words, try to make it look like this : you
start the movie , the pictures load nicely, but at this point they are not
yet active buttons . In any frame after the initial loading of the Pictures,
you put an If Frame Is Loaded action, if frame 50 is loaded then goto and
play frame 50 . It is then only in frame 50 that the pictures would be
active buttons , and therefore clickable .
>From frame 1 to frame 49 the pictures are graphic symbols . In frame 50 you
"modify Instance /properties and assign them as buttons "
I think this should work , if not .... Let me know, it is just a relative
newbie's opinion.
