I still think you're best off importing it as one bitmap. You could put it
on one layer, make it 50% alpha (convert it to a symbol first). Then make
as many copies, each on its own layer, as you have pairs of teeth. Select
the layers one at a time and make each a button symbol. Edit the button
symbol so the hit area is just the area of the pair of teeth. Restrict the
bitmap symbol to the Over frame. Put a mask above that layer and paint the
mask to cover just the pair of teeth. On rollover, the image will be
overlaid on itself to become more opaque.
