Subject: FLASH: FLASH NEWBIE | Animated buttons question.
From: Ray Frenden
Date: Fri, 5 Jan 2001 16:54:47 GMT

I have created a FLA that is going to need a few buttons to be animated.
Silly me, I thought the easiest way to do this would be to create a separate
animation in another FLA and copy and past it in. So far, when that is
'accomplished' all it does is copy the image in as a whole, mudding up
anything that I've done. I've tried importing as a SWF but that seems even
worse.

What is the best way to insert animated buttons in a FLA from another
source, i.e.: FLA or SWF?

I'm sorry if this is vague; I am REALLY new to FLASH in general and am not
sure how to ask. If anyone needs clarification they can also email me
directly at rfrendenatcbs-corp [dot] com.

Thanks again!!!!

Ray
