Hi Waldo,
There are various schemes that help you fill the window. See Colin Moock's
site http://colinmoock.iceinc.com/webdesign/flash/fillthewindow.html.
It is also helpful to place a frame around the stage in the highest layer:
1) Create the new layer
2) Draw a rectangle
3) Match it's height and width to the movie stage size (ctrl-K or Align)
4) Copy and Paste In Place
5) Scale the copy to something over 100% that will cover up all off-stage
elements
6) Fill the space between the two rectangles with your movie or html
background color
As a side note, once an element is off-stage and no longer needed, it's a
good idea to remove it from the timeline by adding a keyframe and deleting
the object.
