FLASH: Can also see stuff that's Outside Movie Dimension !!!

Hi,


I'm very happy with this mailinglist and i think that i'm going to use

it very often.


Let me first introduce me.

I'm Waldo and i'm working for CARE Internet Services. I know the Flash

Basics and somewhat more, but not the real Flash work.

Our Graphic Designer made a flash movie that looked very good. But she

didn't know Flash that well after all..... she only had eyes for the

graphical design and didn't use the library, no multiple movies etc.

After all she went away and i was the one to finish her work.


I found out that her work could be done much better.... and that's what

i'm trying to achieve rightnow!


I've got the following problem:


The flash movie has a dimension of 600*400.

But a good property of flash is the scaling property. But when i'm

changing the flash players width and height, then i can see parts of

instances that should fall outside the movie dimensions and that i would

expect not to be seen.


It happens when for example when i make the movie in my HTML file

900*800. Instead of 900*600


Is there a way to avoid/solve that?
