RE: FLASH: Frequently Asked Questions

John,

I purposefully did not check to see who, where and how the questions were

answered. My intent was to get a feel for what questions were getting asked.

The fact that they were asked means they didn't have the answers already. If

Flash Tech Resource is the ideal repository for this information, and I've

no doubt it is, then we're faced with two possibilities. Either the people

asking the questions are lazy and don't feel like looking first (I've not

seen any reason to believe this is the case) or they were not aware of the

Flash Tech Resource repository prior to asking their question. Call me naive

but I'd rather believe the latter.


The next question is whether or not we should or even could make the Flash

Tech Resource more accessible? Maybe the list owner would be willing to add

the Flash Tech Resource link to the footer of each message?


I'm not implying there is a problem to fix here, I was mostly just curious

for a run-down of the kinds of questions that were making it onto this list

and I thought the rest of the list might be too. I'll be just as happy if

the general reaction to this thread is a collective yawn. That means this

list is doing a good job of accomplishing it's mission and that's good for

all of us.


So far I have one yawn...
