What if you were to make a second MC that resides directly over the car
animation. In that MC, place a rectangle that is big enough to cover the
entire animation of the car. Place a stop action in the first frame of the
MC, and then TellTarget it with

on roll-out
tell target "fade"
Play
end tell target
end on
(or something to that effect)

have it do a simple tween going from 0% alpha to 100% alpha....

That would be one way of doing it.... im sure there may be a better way using
actionscripting and variables and such, but thats what i would do.
