That definitely sounds like a job for Macrmedia Generator 2: You could

have a Flash4 front-end where you build your parameters, which are then

encoded by Coldfusion or ASP or CGI into a MS-DOS instruction, calling a

Generator template with the given parameters. The offline generator then

puts it all together and spews out a .swf file (you can control the

filename too).


It would be very simple to implement using generator... and it can be

made to build Flash, animated GIFs, JPEGs, etc...
