Not familiar with the term either but if you are talking about an ability to
package a file or group of files for transmission then best utility I have
used for that on the PC is ZipMagic 2000. It allows zipping and unzipping
and a host of other compression schemes (not Stuffit however).
Reason I like it for the type of things we do: You can make self-extracting
ZipFiles for a customer with an opening message advising them what the file
is going to do so that they don't cower in fear. It feels much like an
installer to a novice. You can set a default extraction folder (which they
can override if they wish) It can be set to start the projector or
PowerPoint presentation (or whatever else is needed after the files are
unzipped.) In short you can almost dummy proof the whole thing.
