I think the problems with scenes are more in the area of targeting and
duplicate frame names across scenes, not file size (in fact, another
person posted something exactly like what you found -- no file size
increase. I remember sticking it in the flashlist database, where there
are numerous comments regarding scenes if you want to check). But many
people (I know, I'm one) use scenes successfully to organize different
parts of a movie if they're very separate parts and don't have to
interact (just make sure you use frame names--not numbers--for reference
and don't use the same frame names in 2 different scenes).
