Yea, I follow you... but this isn't a typical project. I'm building an
emulator for a PalmV with no animation... just static "screen shots". The
navigation is setup in 3 sections with 60 or 70 static gifs per section. If
I set up all the screens that appear in the pda interface as movie clips, it
would be a bummer doing the file management. If I break the swf into 3
sections, I would wind up with a wait while the next section loads...and the
client doesn't want that. If I set everything up in scenes, then I would be
able to do just one short preload in the beginning. Hope this makes sense.
