Go get 'em, Joe. A minimum level of competency is long overdue. I have
encountered so-called "Macromedia Certified Trainers" who were teaching only
Director 5 when 7 had been on the market for almost a year.

I am also tired of the "puppy mills" that give you two days of training
guaranteed "to teach you everything you need to know about ( Macromedia product
name goes here)". Ask these pooor souls who dropped a few hundered bucks on one
of these courses what they learned� five days later. Guaranteed the
comprehension is about 20%.

One question. Among the trainers I know, the consensus is the Macromedia
Training material is borderline acceptable. If this is the case, who sets the
certification standard?
