Hmm. Dark and cynical. I like that, but if you pushed the envelope a little 

with your metaphors, I think the  design would go further. There is A LOT of 

dark cynicism out there, and (at least from my jaded perspective) it takes 

some profoundly creative  angst to affect my artistic sensibilities. Maralyn 

Manson fits the bill for the dark side (I guess), but suddenly I started 

thinking Bela Bartok's Sonata No.2 for violin and piano would be truly 

twisted... :)


I like the swoosh on the main page and the mouseover activated view box. I 

think if you incorporated the Millenium title with the graphic in some way, 

rather than just center it on the top line, it would look even cooler. The 

overall shape is nice.


The drop shadow effect on the smaller, lighter text (especially under the 

"members" button) makes it look quite blurry. 


JMO, (except for the smaller text. It really does look blurry)
