If your going to be doing allot of video I would use a play box or avid
media rig.

As for graphic design the Mac G4 stand out for 2D and some 3D product such
as strata 3D, on the other hand most PC guys will use a 500 Mhz Pent III
with 256 meg dims and no less than a 21 inch monitor with about 30 gig of HD
space.

As far as cameras go you can get some reasonable reformed digital cams out
on the market as goes for sound equipment too. For overall web packages
go mostly Macromedia products for web in addition to adobe for your 2D and
layout art.

If you must stream your media go with real-player line if implementing
flash.
