Hi Michael,

Just to add a counterpoint to Sohrab's comments, I'm not personally against
frames and am pretty proud of the work I did on

http://www.nassmc.org

But I admit the frames were problematic. We had to create 2 separate
framesets for NN and IE--the 2 browsers just refused to align the graphics
using the same pixel dimensions (isn't that just absurd?). JavaScript
sniffs the browser and writes 2 separate framesets depending on what it
reads. And the frameset is housed in a crippled browser window; we just
couldn't get it to align in the main window. So yeah, there were problems.

On the plus side, though, housing all that content in frames has allowed
the client to maintain the site by just updating web pages and not touching
Flash (this was part of the contract). The frameset allows the text to
scroll. And it looks good! So you be the judge.

Good luck!
