Hello,
I am new to this and have a question... I am trying to figure out how to
make my images fade in and out.
< make your image a symbol. This way you can tween them and chnage the
opacity on the instance. Place your first image in the timeline. Then 10-20
(however long you want the fade to happen) frames later place a keyframe.
Now you have the first keyframe where you placed your image and the second
keyframe you just made. Right click on the first fame and gice it a morion
tween. Then select the image on the stage and modify the instance (ctrl-i).
Go to the color effect section and select Alpha from the drop down menu. Set
it to 0. Now when you run your movie it should fade in. Fade out is jsut the
opposite. >
Also, what other programs do you recommend
to use with flash to opitimize my creations?
< I like Illustrator, but Freehand is also very good for creating vector
artwork. For Bitmaps, I use photoshop.>
