You don't want to put the action in the button it's self.

drag an instance of the button out to the timeline, then double click (or
right click / properties) the instance and put your get URL in the actions
tab there.

The button is re-useable, meaning you can have the same button on the page
hundreds of times, with a different action for every one, OR you can even
have the exact same one button do different things at different points in
time separated by key frames).

Sounds confusing at first but once you play around with it you'll see.
