OK I think the difference is that many browsers support it in HTML
terms but only a subset of those support it when used as an argument
to GetURL in a Flash movie embedded in that browser.

I have set up a test page http://www.FlashCentral.com/JavaScript/

The Javascript: protocol from Flash works for Netscape 2, 3 and 4.
It does not work for MSIE 3 Win95 or Opera
It DOES work for MSIE 4.01 Windows 95

We need correct information on this, anyone with Mac IE, Win 3.1 IE,
WinNT IE or Beta Win95 IE4 browsers please that a quick check at the URL
above and Email me the results. If your browser supports the Javascript:
protocol it will write to the lower window (The first write in Netscape
is blank). There is an HTML link as a control which should work in all
Flash capable Javascript enabled browsers. The Angel button has
Javascript:JSTest() in the getURL Network URL box (the same code as in
the HTML link).
