i'm curious as to how they got these stats. presumably a browser check
of every visitor to a certain site which scanned installed plug-ins. i
wonder what kind of controls there were, though. it may be like the
flash download statistics where i've downloaded the plug in personally
four times and been counted as four users. is it possible that the site
from which these statistics were taken attracts people with certain
browser habits? perhaps we should scatter the same survey across several
sites (like a neilsen rating sort of thing) and get a solid sample. not
that i expect flash to all of a sudden jump to the top of the list, but
i'd like some solid statistics to give to potential clients.
