Hi Steven,
That's a nasty problem you got there and i think
a lot of people got he same problems. I tried a lot
ways to import my illustration stuff. Not every color
gives a problem, but overall you can say that all colors
imported, are displayed to bright, I particularly had
problems with purples and greentones.
So what do I do then, I create a black and white
illustrator-outline file that i import ungrouped in Flash
and then choose a few colors in flash. Then I export
this file to Illustrator and the colors that i use in flash
are displayed in illustrator, there i can totally color my
file savely with the picked colors. You can now make
gradients with lighter versions of these colors or darker
versions just by adding black to the color.
What you also can do is make a grid with squares in flash.
You color those squares with all the colors in Flash and
then export them to illustrator. If you open your illustrator
document and you Flash document then you can see where
the problem colors are.
When you work this way the illustrationcolors in illustrator
look very strange and dark but when imported in Flash everything is OK.
Is anyone has a better idea about this please let me know.
I also looking for a much faster way. Untill then i'll do it this
way.
