you dont have to draw a sinuse curve :

you could use motiontweening along a circle path to 'calc'
a sinus function :
if your motion contains 360 frames for one way round,
you can easyly track sinus or cosinus by checking the x or y
position of your animated symbol, while the frame number
gives the angle

i've been thinking about this since f4 is up,
by i never had the time to try, for im not into
flash very much these days

please tell me, if you think this was a help for you
