Hi, Nicholas.
I think I understand what you mean & it is easy to fix. Go to the hit state
of your button & add a key frame. Now, put a rectangle around the words &
fill it with any color. Delete the text and any border from that frame (the
hit frame) so you are left with just a rectangular fill delineating the "hit
state". If you don't do this, the "hit state" defaults to the actual
insides of the text, making it very hard to "hit" the button!
