Well, people that cannot use Flash have the option of downlaoding it fairly
swiftly, and for free. Those that cannot view more than 256 colours are not
about to go out and buy a new monitor.

I think that while the problem still exists, you should assume that all the
people that can't view more than 256 colours make up 90% of your viewers!!
Just to be on the safe side.
