Subject: | FLASH: MC Instance not starting over? |

I think I've been looking at this project far too long. I have a MC that
draws a box. I have 4 instances of the MC on my timeline. Each time I tell
target the outer MC to go to and play a frame that contains an instance of
this MC, shouldn't the MC start from frame 1? I mean, theoretically, with
nothing telling it otherwise, shouldn't it start over?
It seems that the first instance (first in the timeline, not necc. first one
I pick, although the first one I pick always works ok, too) of the MC always
starts from frame 1, but any other instance starts from wherever a prior
instance left off...if at the end, then it doesn't play at all. If in the
middle, it merely changes to its own color/tint effect and continues on its
merry way from where the prior one left off.
Could this MC be too far nested? I didn't think there was a restriction on
that? Could it just be that I should be out enjoying the sunshine and
80-degree weather instead of working on my portfolio? Hmmmm.
