FLASH: keyboard controls

Hi everyone,


Could any of you helpful people please tell me how to

make a flash file detect a keyboard control?

eg. instead of clicking forward and backward buttons

using a mouse, users can press ">" and "<" to navigate.


Please indicate how this can be done using Flash 3 

(my version ... boohoo)

and if not, how it can be done in Flash 4.
