I've read serveral books about flash and
found that by far the most valuable actionscripting
information is in the one from hillman curtis.
You shoud find more information on his
hompage www.hillmancurtis.com.

Book that have less or invaluable action scripting
infos are: Flash 4 Bible, Flash 4 Web Animation & Design.

Anyone have any preferences for Advanced Flash4 books?
Specifically looking for alot actionscripting and FS.
Thoughts on the James Mohler's Book "Graphics,
Animation & Interactivity with Flash4"? I've read his
book is for Flash4 beginners (not exactly the
actionscript developer audience). And, what about
"Flash 4! Creative Web Animation", by Franklin and
Patton?
Need an excellent resource and reference book that's
worth the buck!
