RE: FLASH: Tables

That's to much like work! I have a huge table with a few tables nested

within some of the cells of the original table. It would take me a whole

day to recreate it in flash. I was looking for some drag-n-drop method.

Oh well! Back to the drawing board for me!

		I don't think it can be done directly.  Two

work-arounds:


		1) If you don't mind using a bitmap, take a screen shot

of the table, crop

		it, and use the bitmap;

		2) Make a graphic symbol consisting of text. While

composing the text, drag

		the little white circle in the upper right corner of the

text, and this

		will make the block a fixed width.  Draw a rectangle

around it.  This

		becomes a cell.  Copy the symbol and replace the text

for each cell in the

		table.  Make another copy and alter the fixed width if

you need some cells

		of a different width.
