FLASH: semi transparent layers...again

sorry, that last letter had too many typos, so here it is again.


In Flash3, i know how to make a spotlight mask, but is there anyway to make it

so the layer that the spotlight is on is sort of transparent? I want to create

a spotlight, but i want to be able to sort of see whats beneath the spotlight

layer before i do, thank in advance!
